He Did the Good Job

Back in the day when Tripp and I were first dating and working at the lab, we had the same boss – Dr. “Jay” – which was short for a very complicated Indian name I still can’t pronounce.  Dr. “Jay” was pretty easy to work for. And even though he was a serious perfectionist (takes one to know one) he was quick to hand out praise for a job well-done.  My favorite thing in the world was to hand Dr. “Jay” an error-free report and have him return it to me saying, “You did the good job.”

This past weekend my husband and I took a belated anniversary trip to Cabo.  Something we had planned to do back in January to celebrate our 20th anniversary, but because of his job change we had to postpone it.

I hope to share with a little more about our trip, but right now I have a mountain of laundry to tackle (complete with at least 10 souvenir t-shirts) and dinner to fix.   But before I go, I’d just like to say this one thing…

good

…my husband did the good job.

Love, Kelly
