Thanks to the fact that it’s been *relatively* quiet around here, I’ve had some time to think about more than just ‘what am I going to make for dinner?’ And because of that, I’ve had a bit of an epiphany about my blog – existentially speaking of course. Actually it all started bubbling up as I pondered the end of my Pinspiration series. And although it’s taken me some time to organize it in my mind, a lot of things got clearer and I thought I might share them here.
So here’s the deal, for me to be able to thoroughly and accurately express what I need to get out, I need to take the long way around to get to it. Originally, my plan was to just spill my guts in one ridiculously self-indulgent and long-winded blog post (I know you’re probably thinking, “what else is new?”) But my delightful daughter not-so-subtly pointed out that many of recent blog post have been on the wordy side and she suggested that I break this up into three separate blog posts. So that’s what I did.
I guess I could save you a lot of time and trouble and just tell you that I like blogging because it helps me and it makes me happy. 🙂 But if you have nothing better to do and would like the rest of the story, I’ve divided it up into three separate posts.
Part One – The six most important words in the English language.
Part Two – What kind of blog are you anyway?
Part Three – The way I see it.
So if you’d like to come along for journey, grab some coffee. And in the words of my dad, ‘Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.’
