it’s been raining for what feel likes weeks. so that’s why when the sun came out one morning last week, i felt the urge to go out in the backyard and take pictures before leaving for work.
it was an instant mood lifter for sure.
but mostly it was a reminder to me how beauty, joy, and wonder often live side by side with sadness, frustration, and disappointment.
i am learning what it means to live like this. to not fight the clouds and rain. to accept them when they come. but to also seek the light. and to take every opportunity to soak up the sun.
wishing you bright and sunny skies this weekend! happy friday friends!
love, kelly

i am so honored to continue my collaboration with bonnie gray at faithbarista.com. this week she is sharing a hand-lettered printable that i created for her and her #spiritualwhitespace community. if you need a little shot of faith or encouragement, bonnie offers both with such sweetness and grace. xo

Love the garden therapy! But more so the reminder that we have to accept the rain and clouds along with the sunshine and blue skies. xo
