Around here, it’s a full-time job keeping the hummingbird feeders filled. But I am delighted to be a temporary stopover for them as they fuel up before making their long journey home.

Around here, I am so happy that my yoga studio has finally reopened. I love the feeling of aliveness I have after practicing and moving my body in that way.
Around here, my recent visit to Powell Gardens reminded me that there are some beautiful gardens in my own neck of the woods. Golden hour at the Tulsa Garden Center did not dissapoint.
Around here, I am experiencing what feels like a lack of creativity. I know this because my inner critic has been working overtime in my head pointing out the places where stuff sucks when compared to others. But I’ve been through this ebb and flow many times – it’s just part of the creative process. So rather than get all worked up about it, I’m just going to let it be.
Around here, I have learned that the best response to feeling creativity stalled out is less time in front of a screen and more time working with my hands. So with that I’m signing off to get messy.
