Little things that made me happy this week:

🌅 The color of the evening sky after some much needed rain
🌰 The sound of chunky green acorns falling from the trees

🧡 Shadows and light in my kitchen this time of year
💛 Cooler weather and a second wind for my roses
🍛 A simple supper with fresh flavors
🐾 Seeing Daisy feeling more like herself after a trip to the vet and some antibiotics for a UTI.

This past Saturday we hosted a baby shower for Kel

This past Saturday we hosted a baby shower for Kelsey and Alex. Even though the weather felt more like mid-summer, we embraced all the fall vibes for a casual brunch. Plus I couldn’t resist the urge to get crafty and made some darling little banners to go along with the theme.

As is often the case when I am hosting, I didn’t take a lot of photos. I am always super thankful for my friends who captured little moments for me.

Nothing in the world makes me happier than having a house full of family and friends gathered in the kitchen (even if it was a million degrees in there). And I am so grateful for all the love for the parents-to-be. This sweet baby is already so loved.
