As as introvert, learning to honor my need for quiet and solitude has been a big part of my own personal journey. I used to believe that there was something wrong with meā¦that needing time alone was somehow selfish or dysfunctional, butĀ now I know that this is the way God made me. And that is worth celebrating.
Because I am an introvert, I spent the last four days at home (more or less).
Because I am an introvert, three of those days were spent almost entirely in solitude.
Because I am an introvert, I feel recharged, refreshed, and reenergized.
Because I am an introvert, before I felt womperjawed, discombobulated, and frazzled.
Because I am an introvert, I see beauty in the most ordinary things.
Because I am an introvert, I tend to keep my problems to myself.
Because I am an introvert, I sometimes crave silence.
Because I am an introvert, my world tends to be very small.
Because I am an introvert, I love everyday adventures.
Because I am an introvert, I sometimes get mislabeled as shy.
Because I am an introvert, I am good at problem solving.
Because I am an introvert, I often dig too deep.
Because I am an introvert, sometimes I like to play in the shallow end of the pool.
Because I am an introvert, I can spend hours pondering about what it means to be an introvert.
Because I am an introvert, I need my family and friends to keep me balanced.
Because I am an introvert, this blog brings me an immense amount of joy.
Because I am an introvert, I am humbled by your friendship.
Peace, Kelly
