I have often argued that April is the prettiest month of the year in my neck of the woods, and in defense of that argument I would like to present to you the following evidence.

Around my yard and around my neighborhood, spring is in full swing. And sometimes the beauty of it brings me to tears.

St. Thomas Aquinas wrote, “The beauty of the creature is nothing other than a likeness of the divine beauty, participated in by created things.” And Catholic philosopher Dietrich von Hildebrand wrote that “beauty is a reflection of God, a reflection of His own infinite beauty.”
Perhaps that’s why spring feels like a religious experience for me.

My hope is that these beautiful blooms lift your spirit and bring you as much joy and hope as they did for me.
Love, Kelly
