Around Here

Around here we started off the week with rain and storms, but the rainbow over my house made my Monday morning feel a little less manic and a little more magical.

Around here I know it’s June because the windows in the downstairs of our house are fogged up when get up in the mornings.

Around here I love taking a little morning walkabout in the backyard with my coffee before starting my workday.

Around here evening walks are the antidote to all the time I spend looking at my computer screen.

Just to switch things up this week, we walked over to Woodward Park for a change of scenery. Local friends, you should go check it out! If you’re not into beautiful summer flowers, go for ALL THE BABY BUNNIES!!!

And speaking of baby bunnies!!! We discovered this cutie living in our backyard over the weekend. So far it seems to be happy enough eating grass and the fallen peaches that the squirrels knock to the ground. <<insert eyeroll here>>

Around here all the critters in the neighborhood are making me so happy. From the robin’s that wake me up in the morning, to the frog in my neighbor’s backyard that sings all night, the sounds of summer of one of my very favorite things.

Around here we are official one month away from Kelsey + Alex’s wedding! (This photo is from their engagement session last fall.) My calendar is completely bananas, but we are chipping away at our to-do list and managing to have some fun in the process, which is a win-win in my book.

Around here life is very full. And it is very good. And I am very grateful.
