Extremely Ordinary & Incredibly Wonderful

This blog post barely qualifies as a blog post. 

I don’t have much to share except that my delightful daughter came home for a visit.  We went out for dinner Friday night.  And on Saturday, I made a huge mess in the kitchen while trying to do about ten things at once. 

I blame it on menopause brain caused by a violent hot flash that woke me up at precisely 2:05 a.m. Saturday morning.

Still trying to recover from that.

***yawn***

Anyway, while Tripp did a little purring of his own…

…I washed about 147 t-shirts and got Kelsey up to speed with Bethenny and the OC Housewives.  {Question…who thinks Vicki has had some “work” done??} Then we compared notes on Smash and Once Upon a Time.

On Sunday we went to Church and then later that afternoon my girl left to go back to campus.  So that’s it.  No big plans, no big projects (well except cleaning up the huge mess I made in the kitchen).  Just some quality time with my delightful daughter.

It was a completely ordinary weekend.  And it was incredibly wonderful.
