weeds are popping up all over the place including our lawn and the empty lot down the street from us.
but i decided that these weeds deserve a little more than a passing glance. and so i’m geeking out on native wildflowers with my friends at focusing on life today. i would be delighted to have you come by visit me there.
after all…weeds are flowers too. 🙂

Lovely capture, I love weeds too and I agree with a.a. Milne.
Some weeds have such pretty flowers – we often pull them up before their beauty is developed. Nicely quoted.
Lovely photos…..showing off the plant’s true beauty ????
I have no recollection of typing those question marks…..please ignore them!

LOL! Sometimes my mantra about the yard is, “if it’s green, it’s acceptable!” I think this wildflower is named Henbit. We have lots of it in our area. And it’s only a weed if it’s growing where you don’t want it to grow, right? 🙂
Visiting from Texture Tuesday.
Your post makes me smile! Some weeds are very pretty and they deserve to be photographed! I love the quote too 🙂
If weeds can be so beautiful, there’s hope for the rest of us! Lovely photos, stunning light.
Weeds are an unwanted plant. Surely that can’t be a weed . . . I would really want it. Beautifully done.
