Today my baby graduates from high school. I can’t believe how fast her senior year has flown by. It’s been an amazing year and I have watched my daughter literally bloom before my eyes.
Today is the day to celebrate all of Kelsey’s tremendous accomplishments. She’s had four incredible years of unforgettable experiences and I’ve watched as she courageously put herself out there and tried new things. She’s grown and matured into a confident, determined, and compassionate young woman.
Today is the day to celebrate our family. Tripp and I made a commitment to each other that Kelsey’s education would always be one of our top priorities. It’s been challenging at times, for her and for us, but I am so proud to see how our hard work has paid off.
Today is the day to celebrate the future. Kelsey is so excited for college and to embark on her new adventure. I am excited to watch her journey unfold now that she is taking the wheel and deciding her life’s path for herself.
It is one of the most gratifying experiences of parenthood to have raised a happy, self-assured young woman with such character and inner beauty.
So today I celebrate.
