so far just enjoying the quiet beauty of the ice…not the destruction.  and we still have power.  warm, cozy fire in the fireplace.  much to be thankful for today.

happy first day of winter.

Ice makes beautiful images. It looks like maybe the wind was blowing pretty hard. Some of the icicles on the branches look curved! Stay warm!

as much as ice destroys, it makes up for in sheer beauty. glad you’re safe and warm. we missed the ice, but just got torrential rains all day yesterday, then a light snow overnight. some winter, we’re having, huh?

It is beautiful but I do like it when it melts before it creates havoc, which I hope yours did. Have a lovely Christmas, Kelly! xo
