from me to you

hello friends and happy friday!

today marks the beginning of my holiday time off.  and can i tell you….i’m so happy that i could just cry. but i won’t. because {sing it with me now!}

ain’t nobody got time for that!

i hope all is well in your neck of the woods.  i’m about 94.6% finished with my shopping.  and the other night i started wrapping presents.  raise your hand if you love gridded wrapping paper!

against my better judgment i used curly ribbon. so keep my cat from chewing the curlicues off and barfing giant, disgusting hairballs all over the house, i have #1) put them on my dining room table and covered them with a towel and #2) kept them behind closed doors. festive no?

anyway, as i was wrapping my gifts i realized that i didn’t have any gift tags.  so because i have so much extra time on my hands right now {yeah, right} i decided that i would just print some up.

so a while back i had made this little subway art thingy to put in my december daily album.

merry christmas subway

so i just resized it to make a page full of small tags.

then i printed it out on photo paper and trimmed them with my paper trimmer.

i think they turned out kinda cute!

and well….because i’m me and can’t leave well enough alone…i made a couple of other designs.

i wish so much that you and i could sit down for coffee.  and i could make you some of my mom’s famous hello dollies and i could tell you in person how much i appreciate all your sweet comments.  all of your encouragement.  for letting me tell you about my life and my cat’s hairballs.  for all of it.

so in lieu of that, i have made these printables so that you can download them if you like. just click on the picture to be taken to the full-sized version that you can save onto your computer.  how OCD you are with cutting on the lines is up to you. 😉

it’s a very small token of my profound gratitude for your love and support.

i hope you have a wonderful weekend friends.

love, kelly

    I always make my own tags and did so this year but I’ll admit, I did it on a lazy, not overly creative day. Soooo … since I have just a few more packages to wrap, I think I’ll download your template. Thanks so much, sweet friend! And the merriest, merriest to you and Tripp and Kelsey. xo

    The tags are beautiful. I just might have to print those off and use them! Our cat used to love curling ribbon. She would pounce on the table as I was wrapping to attack the loose ends I was trying to tie together. She was so pesky, then so barfy, that we just stopped putting anything but fabric ribbons on gifts. Enjoy your time off and enjoy your holidays!
