yes to autumn.
yes to pansies.
yes to accepting my limitations.
yes to big projects that are exciting, terrifying, and exhilarating.
yes to magic.
yes to morning light.
yes to morning runs.
yes to time in the kitchen.
yes to lingering in the sun.
yes to red wine.
yes to cool evenings and wood fires.
yes to sleeping with the windows open.
yes to slow a sunday morning.
yes to delights of the season.
yes to a sunday afternoon stroll.
yes to whimsy.
yes to family.
this weekend i said yes to hanging on.
this weekend i said yes to letting go.
this weekend i said yes to finding art in unexpected places.
this weekend i said yes to grace.
this weekend i said yes to gratitude.
what did you say ‘yes’ to this weekend?
What a gorgeous post. I said yes to getting things done, yes to playing with my grandchildren, yes you can go in the ocean even if it’s freezing, yes we can exchange the new firm mattress for a medium one, yes to tea, yes to getting rid of stuff, yes to less worrying, yes to sleep, yes to steel cut oats cooked with quinoa.
yes to the good stuff my friend. xoxoxo
I said yes to planting some pansies and a mum we bought at Walmart. I said yes to a pot of brown beans, some fried potatoes and cornbread shared with my lovely daughter and hubby. I said yes to accepting the fact I cannot change anyone but myself. I said yes to letting Kelly and Jim do the dishes, I said yes to a quiet evening on my porch with my daughter and good conversation. Thank you Lord for the little things in life that bring joy and peace to us, your children.
