I’ve started and deleted this blog post probably a dozen times this week. I thought about trying to weave together a post about what’s been going on in my life (spoiler alert: not much). I toyed with a bulleted-list that was more boring in reality that it sounds (if that’s even possible). I also experimented with a bizarre, third-person account which was just stupid.
All of these lame attempts were me trying to find some clever way to show back up to this space while acknowledging that it’s been four months since I last posted. Instead of just stating the obvious which is that I took a long break from writing on my blog.
See how easy that was?
But then again overthinking making things harder than they need to be are my special gifts in life.
Now that that is out of the way, I would like to say that I have missed this space and the blogger that I used to be. There is more that I could (and probably eventually will) say about this, but for now, this feels like a good place to start.
