Growing Room

Back in November, I shared on my blog about how I was experiencing a little of the emptiness that the aptly named empty nest is known for.   Long story short, what I discovered is that sometimes empty spaces are just room to grown into.  Looking at it that way really changed my whole attitude and brought me so much peace.

Fast forward six months and here I am.  Growing.  Filling in the empty spaces.  growth is the only evidence of life color

And living.

Peace, Kelly

Beautiful image and such a great quote! We’ve been empty nesters for about five years now. It does allow space for growing in other directions! I still miss having my children at home, but if they hadn’t grown and moved, I wouldn’t have four fabulous grandsons!!

Indeed, I’ve had a similar feeling whenever something unsettling comes up. It’s true what you say. If I breathe into it and accept the feeling, wonderful things come to fill it.
