Project 52 {Week 11}–The Eyes of March

web_post_p52_2012

Disclaimer: I know this challenge is supposed to be about eyes, but my hubby has been out of town all week so I’ve been home alone.  Therefore, I decided to take a little different approach to the prompt. Smile

It’s the middle of March and what do I see?

Yellow!!

I think I can safely go out on a limb to say that yellow is the color of March.  Yellow is everywhere in my neighborhood!  Take, for example, my neighbor’s forsythia.

It’s is literally bursting with tiny yellow blossoms!

And then there’s Woodwark Park whose hillsides are covered in Daffodil blossoms right now.

It is impossible to be in a bad mood surrounded by happy Daffodils.

Looking through the Eyes of March, my own yard is a alive with this joyful color.

Raise your hand if you started singing the theme song to Ice Castles.  Winking smile

{***Raising my hand!!***}

Don’t lie – you know you loved Robbie Benson and cried when he walked out on the ice and said, “We forgot about the flowers.”   Smile

I think I just dated myself.  LOL

Anyway, as you can probably tell, I love the color yellow.  And don’t tell Tripp but I even love Dandelions.

I don’t know what kind of weed this is, but to me it’s a sunny pop of color in a sea of brown grass.

So, let’s recap.

March + Yellow = Happy

And I am a sucker for cheesy love stories.

Happy Spring!  Love, Kelly
