Party of Three

Last week, our son-in-law celebrated his birthday. And so on Saturday Tripp and I went over to their house to give him some birthday love.

We adore Alex. He is kind and thoughtful. Loyal and loving. A gem of a human being that I feel so blessed to have in my life. And for the past eight years I have had the joy and privilege of photographing Alex and Kelsey and capturing little bits of their life together as a party of two.

Then last year we got the most wonderful news that they were going to become a party of three.

Fast forward to today and their baby boy is now four months old.

Harris is growing and thriving thanks to all of the tender and loving care of his momma and daddy. I love seeing the way Harris’s face lights up when they talk and play with him. And I love the happiness I see in Alex and Kelsey from becoming a party of three.
