Remember those tulips I bought last week?

This is what they look like a week later.
From the humble bow of the stem to the elegant swirl of the faded, almost iridescent petals, there is just something so lovely about these spent blooms.
I give photography much of the credit for learning to see beauty in unexpected places. It has been a journey in learning to see life differently. And it has made all the difference.
