This might be my favorite prompt yet!
Finally!! Permission to take pictures of my garden!
This weeks prompt is all about growth and nowhere is that more evident than in my little vegetable garden.Ā Itās so hard to believe that in just a few short weeks, my sweet little beet seedlings have gone from thisā¦
ā¦to this!
Since thinning my seedlings, they have grown probably four times their size!
The same is true for my Buttercrunch lettuce.
I think weāll actually get to harvest some soon!
Honestly, I just find it so remarkable how these vibrant carrot plants have grown out of seeds no bigger than the tip of a pencil!
The truth of the matter is that my little vegetable garden brings me an immense amount of joy. It is amazing to me to watch over time as teeny seedlings arch and push their way up through the earth.
And I am so blessed because every day I get to walk outside and observe the miracle taking place just beyond my back door.
Life is so, so good.
Peace, Kelly
This makes me want a garden!
it’s fun amy! i can totally see you with a mickey shaped topiary of green beans. LOL š
Now THAT is an excellent idea!
You’ve got a beautiful garden! I keep thinking that one of these years I want to try growing something, but so far it hasn’t happened.
I know I should at least try growing some herbs, but the only time I did I never watered them enough and they didn’t last. Whoops.
thanks sheila! that whole ‘forgetting to water’ business is something i’ve done from time to time too. š
I think my favorite is the fence and tomato cage. I am such a sucker for metal in the garden.
thanks! i like it too – but it also serves to keep my dogs out. š LOL
Such beautiful pictures!
thanks brandi!! š
I totally agree that watching growth is so amazing. I feel excited to go in the backyard every day just to see what’s changed overnight. It’s simply amazing how it all happens without us!
so true! š
Great series. I love how you captured your joy in your garden. My favorite is of the lettuce with the water droplets.
