“Do small things with great love.” ~Mother Teresa
It’s been a rainy stretch of weather these past several days. Not much in the way of pretty light to photograph, so instead I practiced my macro skills on these delightful little water droplets on the new leaves of my rose bush.

It wasn’t until I loaded this image on my computer and looked closely that I could see the reflection of my backyard in the largest water droplet. And when I looked even closer, there was even a little bit of a reflection of me and my camera. It’s amazing to me that this one tiny droplet of water had the power to magnify and reflect all of the goodness of my teeny corner of the world to me.
There are a lot of folks that would argue that nothing about the world feels good right now. Which I totally get. But I would just encourage them to look a little closer. And if that doesn’t help? Then I would say, (borrowing Ghandi’s inspired words) BE THE GOOD THAT YOU WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD.
As a Christian, I believe that when we act out of kindness and hope, we magnify and reflect God’s Goodness and Love to the entire world. And there are a million little ways to spread goodness and love into the world right now. We can donate money to local organizations caring for the homeless. We can deliver groceries to a neighbor. We can order takeout from our favorite restaurants. We can stop hoarding basic supplies.
Let’s be the ones who make a difference in someone’s life. So whatever it is you have to give (even it’s it small), now is the time to offer it. The world needs it.
Sending you all so much love.
Kelly
