“I hope some day to meet God,
because I want to thank Him for the flowers”.
Robert Brault
One of my favorite podcasts to listen to on my drive to Kansas City is the For The Love podcast by Jen Hatmaker. And at the end of every episode, she asks her guest the same question. It’s a question borrowed from Barbara Brown Taylor (one of her favorite authors) which is this…
What is saving your life right now?
Without hesitation, my answer to this question right now is my garden.
April is arguably the most beautiful month of the year for my garden. And had you been looking, just about every morning this month you would have found me crouched down or hunkered over…camera held up against my face…taking picture after picture of the flowers in my yard. A delightful array of flowers in every shape, texture, and color. A succession of blooms that has filled my heart and my soul with so much joy.
This joy was a very welcomed gift in a month that was incredibly hard at times. And for that I am so, so, so grateful.
Thank you, April
Love, Kelly
