After a sort of a tech-heavy week last week for Week in the Life (in terms of time spent with the camera and in front of my computer screen), it was really nice to switch gears and play around with the kit. Love these cool concentric circles.
This uber-crafty, 12×12 layout is a bit of a departure for me. But it was fun to play and to do something different. I used mostly physical products from the kit, but the coral ‘THIS’ and gray ‘LOVE YOU SO’ were digital elements that I resized and printed out. I also made some circle-shaped journaling cards (sized to fit in the circles) using the ‘through the lens I see:’ stamp.
I also spent an obscene amount of time fussy-cutting out these flowers because I am completed OBSESSED with them. 😉 I used the lasso selection tool in photoshop to pull them out from the digital journal card. I enlarged them a bit and then printed them out.
I love how this layout came together.
It was fun to do something a little different. Which I think is great advice if you’re feeling burned-out or uninspired with your memory keeping projects. If you normally work in 12×12 size, then switch it up and use 6×8. Or try a pocket-page style for a while. Or if you usually do all digital layouts, try your hand with physical products and get crafty. Or vice-versa.
Whatever you decided to do though, print your pictures. It’s how to make your stories tangible….it’s how your memories become {{wait for it}} full-circle. <<<#seewhatididthere #imsopunny #sorrynotsorry
Happy Tuesday friends!

I am also nuts for this kit and I absolutely LOVE what you did with it!
