i’m gonna get busy today…. i promise.  but between my garden and instagram i am having a difficult time getting motivated today.

i know it’s been a while since i’ve stopped in on a friday to chat.  how are you???  what’s new in your neck of the woods?

all is well around here.  work has been going well for tripp and me.  but seriously…anyone else feel like that time is flying?  i mean the weeks come and go running together. march is a blur…april is half over.  yesterday i was watering the plant in my office and i thought to myself – didn’t i just do a couple of days ago?  but it was a week ago! please tell me it’s not just me!

anyway, in other news we are on the final countdown to kelsey’s graduation…three weeks you guys.  three weeks until my girl graduates from college.  how in the world is this possible?

this week i got the last of her announcements sent out.  

and the really big news is that she has accepted a position with a special events company. my baby girl has a job!

she is equal parts nervous and excited.  naturally.  but this is the answer to alot of prayers and dream come true for her.  makes my momma heart just about burst.

speaking of bursting…

the azaleas in my front yard are in full bloom.  in fact, my whole yard is unbelievable.

and everything is so green.  i am amazed!!  we’ve had so much good rain this year – the past few springs have been so dry.  and in the course of  week – literally!! – we went from having no leaves on the trees to shade!

and as the sun has started setting more to the north, now we get that gorgeous golden light in the front yard.

oh my heart.

it’s just all so beautiful.

so with that i’m going to sign off.  i really must clean my bathrooms today and of course…princess fluff and puff (aka pumpkin) needs her bathroom cleaned today as well.
