around here pumpkin is doing a very good job of keeping my chair warm while i’m at work.
around here i am wrapping my packages in brown paper and string – not because i saw it on pinterest, but because it’s the only ribbon that pumpkin doesn’t chew off of the presents and barf up all over the living room.
around here i loved having my girl home for a couple of days and am looking forward to wednesday when she’ll be home for a week.
around here we enjoyed celebrating christmas with tripp’s family at the lake. lots of yummy food (and mimosas!) and lots of fun for the cousins. plus, anytime you get at a photo of all six cousins together it’s a big win!
around here, my approach to christmas cards (and pretty much everything else it seems) is ‘better late than never’. because i refuse to let perfectionism, expectation, and anxiety rob me of my christmas spirit this year.
around here taking the pressure off has been the greatest gift i could have possibly given myself.
around here holiday baking is in full swing. as is a messy kitchen and sticky floor.
around here, the answer to ‘should i put up more twinkle lights?’ is yes. always yes.
around here, all my shopping is done. most of my presents are wrapped. and only one more day of work separates me from 12 days of vacation.
