Around here, we enjoyed a glorious fall weekend at home. A little bit of house and yard work. A little bit of play time. A lot of light and breath and space.
Around here, the leaves are changing. Tripp and I love walking through through the neighborhood and seeing trees aglow in vibrant hues of red, orange, and coral.
Around here, I am SO READY for the election to be over.
Around here, we transitioning back into regular time (as opposed to daylight savings time). As much as I dislike it getting dark earlier, waking up to the sun is always nice.
Around here, I am so grateful for all of this beauty. So grateful for the gift of photography and the practice of gratitude. For the light they bring to my life. This light stands in stark contrast to so much sadness and darkness and hopelessness in this world. I have a heavy heart today after learning that a relative of mine took his own life over the weekend.
Around here, I am trusting in the Lord and believing in his promises. Offering prayers of comfort for the brokenhearted.
Psalms 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
