Since I purposely stopped running early this year, I spend a lot more time walking instead. Sometimes I walk down to the river park, but more often, I walk through my neighborhood.
I really enjoy walking this time of year…lately I’ve been going after dinner so I can soak up all that glorious evening light. And although I don’t usually take my camera when I’m “walking” (as opposed to a leisurely stroll), for some reason I happened to grab it on my way out the door earlier this week.
I am so glad I did.
It’s a beautiful time of year in my neck of the woods – before the heat and humidity become unbearable. And I find that walking is so good for my general wellbeing – body, mind, and soul. So I am going to keep on walking and enjoy all of the goodness of this magical time of year.
Peace,
Kelly
