It was a typical Monday. Full of the ordinary things of my ordinary life. I went to work, came home, started some laundry, cleaned out the cat litter box. Then I prepped for dinner – BBQ sandwiches that I made with leftover roast beef from last night’s dinner. When Tripp got home, we caught up on each other’s days. Then Tripp went to run and I did a little yoga. We ate dinner, we did the dishes. The ordinary stuff of life.
And yet, standing there in front of the window, is our Christmas tree. Illuminating the entire living room with its beautiful, golden glow.
So full of light and twinkle and magic and memories.
For me, that’s the beauty of the holidays. The power to transform these ordinary days into something truly wonderful. And today I am just feeling so very grateful for all of it.
Love, Kelly
