hello friends. happy monday! how are things in your neck of the woods?
all is well here. beginning to look and feel like christmas. trees are up. decorations are out. plus the neighbor who lives on the corner has his christmas light show in full swing.
he’s giving old clark griswald a run for his money.
so i’m gonna have to make this blog post short and sweet tonight. you see, my husband has convinced me that it’s time (once again) to employ the services of a cleaning lady. i have no idea why. except for the fact that we haven’t seen the top of the dining room table in a couple of weeks.
or maybe it was the fact that he didn’t have any clean undershirts for two days.
my december daily is coming along quite nicely however.
at any rate, the thing about a housekeeper is that it usually brings about the argument discussion along the lines of, ‘why are you cleaning? isn’t that what we’re going to pay the housekeeper to do?’
so if you’ll excuse me i need to go clean off the dining room table. oh and i think i’ll make a quick pass to make sure there aren’t any major cat hairballs. don’t want to scare her off after only one day.
peace out. kelly

Today I will just say that I love you and your sense of humor. (My housekeeper is here too… of course she can’t clean if all the surfaces are covered with stuff. It’s not her job to put away my laundry and craft supplies.)

This just made me laugh, great post! I love your colorful photos. When your cleaning person is done with your house, could you please send her up to mine?!
