This is the time of year when I tell you about the monarch migration happening in my neck of the woods.

If you’ve been following my blog for any length of time, you probably know how special they are to me and how much I love photographing them.

Anyway, last week I spent a few glorious minutes photographing them at the Gathering Place – one of my favorite places to see them.

There were literally DOZENS of these magnificent creatures nectaring on the “Seven Sons” tree along Midland Valley Trail.

Witnessing so many monarchs flitting and flying about was just the medicine that my world-weary soul needed.

I hope they bring you as much joy as they did me.
Love, Kelly
